I had been making my way around the Southeast part of Texas and the Gulf Coast,  and to be honest, I didn’t know exactly what to expect when I pulled off the highway. But after my first bite of crawfish at Tia Juanita’s and a morning coffee at Rao’s Bakery, I got it.  This place isn’t trying to be Louisiana.  It’s doing its own thing, and doing it really, really well, especially when it comes to the food!
