I’m Veronica Bareman, the writer and photographer behind Hip Grandma Life, a travel and lifestyle site dedicated to promoting tourism and supporting small businesses. Through my stories from around the Midwest and the United States, I encourage others to explore, try new foods, and live life to the fullest.
As the author of “100 Things To Do In Holland, MI, Before You Die” and co-author of “Midwest State Park Adventures,” I am passionate about sharing travel experiences. Since 2017, I’ve been offering photography tips and expanded to travel writing in 2022. I’m also the co-owner of the Michigan Road Trips Facebook Group and the sole owner of the Quirky Roadside USA Facebook Group.
My work has been featured on Fox 17 News, The Travel Collective, Amateur Traveler Podcast, Big Blend Radio, and WCSG Radio. I’ve contributed to Lakeside Living, Travel Awaits, and Readers Digest Magazine. I’m a proud member of Wanderful for Women and the Midwest Travel Network.
With writing, photography, and marketing expertise, I offer freelance writing, content creation, photography services, and speaking engagements. I collaborate with visitor bureaus, small businesses, destinations, and tourism agencies, providing destination and event photography and offering partnerships and sponsorship opportunities within my Facebook groups.
If you would like to discuss a partnership or sponsorship, please contact me at veronica@hipgrandmalife.com. I can assist with destination promotion, digital or print content, freelance writing, and more.
