75 Promises of God: The Best Free Printable to Encourage You

Have you heard people talk about the promises of God?  Maybe you know they are true and vital to remember daily.  After all, these promises are a source of strength and hope for us and remind us of God’s faithfulness and love.  If you are like me, you might find it hard to recall them in tough times.  Don’t worry – I’ve got you covered.  I have compiled a list of 75 of my favorite Promises of God in a free printable for you!

What are the Promises of God?

Before we get to the good promises and the printable bible verses, let’s talk about those promises!  What are they, and why do they apply to me?  Our God is a God of promises; throughout the Bible, he has made many promises to us.  When you dive into God’s word and study what He has to say to us, you will begin to see many of His promises spelled out.  I had an old Sunday School teacher who used to say, “the bible is alive and speaking to you.”  As I have grown, I have indeed found that to be true!

If you’re delving into the Bible for the first time or the millionth time, focus on learning these promises and leaning in on them during the tough times.  From promises of protection to provision to promises of eternal life and salvation, God has given you everything you need to live a fulfilling life.  You can trust His promises and know He will never abandon or forsake you.  When you’re having rough times or days filled with doubt and uncertainty, you can look to the promises of God and find comfort and peace.  He is always with you.

Why Should I believe in the promises of God?

God’s promises are all over the Bible.  But why should you believe in them?  The best way I can answer this question is by telling you that I’ve experienced them repeatedly in my life.

My overwhelming experience shows that when God makes a promise, He always follows through on it.  He is faithful and true to His word.  In the bigger picture, look at the Bible, and you will see that God’s promises are backed by His track record of fulfilling His promises throughout history.

God’s promises give us hope and encouragement amid challenging circumstances, reminding us that we can trust in His love, care, and provision no matter what we face.  So, trust God’s promises, knowing they are a firm and unwavering foundation upon which you can build your life.

This post is about giving you a printable list of God’s Promises as a free resource to reference during difficult times.  If you’d like to hear more of my story and how I’ve seen God’s promises at work, reach out!  I love to share my experience with God’s steadfast love.

How to Find God’s Promises through Bible Study

Once you begin recognizing God’s love and faithfulness, you’ll want to dig into the word of God and learn more through Bible study.  It’s actually kind of addictive.  When you dive into Bible study, you understand God’s character and love for you.  You will also learn about His promises and can trust that He will keep His word.

If you are new to bible study, here are some tips to get you started:

  • Find a quiet time and place to focus on God’s word.
  • Read the Bible with an open heart and mind.
  • Ask God to help you understand His word.
  • Write down what you learn and reflect on it throughout the day.
  • Share what you learn with others.
  • Choose a bible reading plan and study with a small group.

Bible study is a journey that is well worth taking.  As you study the Bible, you will get acquainted with God and grow in your love for Him.  You will also find comfort and hope in His promises.  As a child of God, I know that believing in Him doesn’t mean I won’t have trouble.  In fact, John 16:33 says, “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace.  In this world, you will have trouble.  But take heart!  I have overcome the world.”  On this side of heaven, we will have trouble, but God promises he’s with us and then promises the hope of eternal life.
